Admission to the Specialist Bar

A transparent seal of quality is formed by so-called specialist attorneyships, which are only awarded by the responsible bar associations if the attorney has passed a large number of theoretical examinations, has proven to have successfully worked on a large number of cases from the respective specialist areas in practice over several years and several years of professional experience. From the year in which the specialist lawyer course is attended, the lawyer must undergo further training in the field of the specialist lawyer designation by attending or teaching at least 15 seminar hours or by publishing an academic publication in the relevant field.

In this way, it is ensured that no "false labeling" with supposed specializations is practiced.

Attorney Leander J. Gast holds three specialist attorney titles. This has only been possible since 2011.
